So began the era of unworldly '70s concept vehicles that were basically wedges on wheels, full of angles and edges with tension skins in between. The roof heights were reduced to window sill level, you practically sat on the floor, windshields and hoods shared the same flat plane. Always with a V12 monster that felt like it was screaming right behind your head. Many of these concepts were forgotten by most people, but one became a poster on every boy's wall in the '80s. It's hard to underestimate the impact of these cars on popular culture. Not only in terms of vehicle designs, but also in sci-fi films, fighter planes, speedboats and many other shapes that are recognizable in our lives.
